I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

AM- This morning we had cross-country practice at Liberty Park. We did two laps slow and then did 5 strides. It felt fine. (Pegasus 232)

PM- We spent all of today getting ready for the East High BBQ/ Time Trial/ Fun Run. We did our time trial on the state course, but changed the finish a little bit. It was really hot out, and I was tired. I also had only eaten a little bit because I was busy all day and forgot to eat. I was the second girl. My legs were fine. I wore new shoes. They made my calves sore, but I think it's because I'm just not used to the spikes. After the time trial we did a fun run. It was one loop around the inside of Sugar House park. I took it easy, but at the end I picked it up because there were baskin robins gift certificate's at stake. After the BBQ I went to a 5k in sandy called Midnite Moon 5k or something close to that. I didn't really feel like running hard so I just took it easy the first mile and a half or so, then it was downhill so I started to open up. The race felt really easy. My legs never hurt or got tired. My time was 20:57, but it was probably on 3 miles based on a few of the Garmins people wore.
