I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

AM- This morning we met at the JCC and ran up dry creek. We carried rocks up to the overlook to add to our pile. We went 3 miles out and back. Our time was 59:25. Me and Sussanah ran together. I felt good. I used new shoes today and they were a little stiff. They will take some time to break in. I also started to get a blister but I guess that just comes with new shoes. (Pegasus 6)

PM- Tonight we did a speed workout with Wasatch Athletics. We did a lap around Sugar House Park for a warm up. Then we did 3 laps of speed changes and 1 lap slow. Then we started the workout. We did 1x800, 2x400, 5x200. Here were my times

800- 2:52

400- 1:18

200- 35

We jogged one lap between the 800 and 400's, and finished the lap on the 200's. It felt really good and I was glad to get a speed workout in finally. My leg didn't hurt except for my shin which has been hurting for a while but not enough for me to back off. Afterwards we jogged a one mile cooldown. (Pegasus 9)
